This Saturdays Wedding will not soon be forgotten!!

It maybe a strange way to start this blog off but worth mentioning, much of the grounds in and around Duke Chapel are under heavy reconstruction. We arrived on Saturday to find that not only was there scaffolding all around the outside of the chapel but the main entrance lobby and the immediate entrance to the sanctuary were covered in scaffolding as well…..

So our story begins…..well almost! It is also worth noting that this wedding was originally scheduled to take place last September but a pesky little hurricane rolled through North Carolina and put a major dent in everyones plans.

So now the story and a new amazing adventure begins for Danping and Yue Yin.

Both the Bride and Groom had there friends and family at the Washington Duke Resort across from Duke University. Above the bride readies her dress and vail before the business of the day takes over.

Above the groom enjoys a quite moment before heading over to Duke Chapel for the next chapter of a very busy day.

There is just something about mirrors that make bridal photos look special, maybe it is the built in frame they provide. Danping getting ready for the ceremony and a few more photos.

I asked the Groomsman to pick up the Groom but there is only one rule, don’t drop the groom! They almost dropped the groom! You can see by the photo they were very upset about nearly dropping the groom moments before he had to walk down the aisle…….(not)
